PS-20A-1

Delightful and early, rare Sumida Bowl with Applied Figures and multi-hued glazes typical of this ware. Bowl measures 7 5/8" across at its widest and stands 4" tall at its highest point. The applied mark denotes earlier manufacture (Late 19th Century). Please look at photos closely to discern condition. Figure with top-knot is missing both his right hand and foot. Figure with headress is missing his right hand. Tiny seated figure is also missing his right hand. Other than these typical noted flaws, the bowl is in very good condition overall, ca. 1880                  $495. As Seen
